EXTERIOR:
•White / two tone blue
stripes (Repainted in 1985).
•The paint is 7 or 8
on a 10 point scale.
•Very light hangar rash on the flying
surfaces. This was present when I
purchased the plane 10 years ago.
•Wheel pants included.
•The early 172’s did not have an external
baggage door. I have purchased a baggage
door and the STC to have it installed.
You will need to paint it and have it installed.
INTERIOR:
•White / Cream, Blue
& Silver Fabric seats.
•New interior by
Hangar Bay Interiors summer 2004.
•The interior is a 9 on a 10 point scale. The headliner was not replaced during the new
interior installation.
•New Ultra Visor
tinted sun visors installed 2004.
•Ashlight ashtray
lights installed 2004
INSTRUMENT PANEL:
All of the instruments with
the exception of the manifold pressure gauge are either internally lit or
lighted with NuLites. I had an
electronic dimming system installed in 2003.
The following instruments have been replaced within the last couple of

AIRFRAME:
•37 gallons in two
wing mounted fuel tanks. Fuel burn is
8.0 – 8.5 gallons per hour.
•Wing mounted landing
light.
•Wing tip strobes.
•There was some wind
and hail damage to the plane in 1967 and 1987.
All repairs done with Cessna parts and form 337’s.
•There is some minor
hangar rash on the tail surfaces. This
was present when I bought the plane 11 years ago.

•The plane is flown
regularly so these times will change.

restrict the suction to 5.5”.

•Instrument panel
buttons replaced with bolts and rivnuts.

crack fixed (small and unnoticeable)
•New door hinge
pins. Doors can now be taken off the plane
in seconds.
•New door seals.
•New pilot side seat

•Nose wheel shimmy
dampener rebuilt.
•Cylinder 2 & 5:
re-rolled flange to stop minor oil leak.
•Throttle cable
rerouted to remove binding.
•Cabin heat control
reworked, it works better now than it ever has.

and repainted.
•New compass

•Rebuilt engine
primer.
Asking price is $35,000. With all the little modifications I’ve
had done over the last couple of years, you will not fine a finer or better maintained
172 on the market.
