Proud member of AOPA since 1984.

This is my 1956 Cessna 172.  I purchased it from a pilot who had it based at Dallas Center.  I had it hangared for a few years at North Field (Y76) but I got tired of the politics.  She is now hangared at the Ankeny Airport (IKV)

In August of 2000 the NATG (North American Top Gun) organization brought two AT6 Texans up from Florida and gave rides in them.  I purchased an hours worth of flying and once off the ground had the controls in my hand until landing.
